Liposonix®

^Liposonix® acts at a depth of 0.6cm-2.8cm below the skin surface. The thermal ultrasonic system offers a power of up to 2000 watts, a frequency ten times higher than any previously known system. The fat cells are heated and destroyed without damaging the skin. Subsequently, the body’s natural wound healing process begins, whereby the destroyed fat cells are removed.

The treatment is almost painless, depending on the sensitivity, a slight tingling to a stronger pinching is felt. It can take 8-12 weeks before the final result is visible – occasionally longer. The average circumference reduction is 5-8cm.

Important: The treatment is only suitable for smaller, localized areas. In the case of larger fat deposits, ^Liposonix® cannot replace weight reduction and/or surgical intervention by means of liposuction.

Unlike liposuction, no other precautions are necessary for Liposonix treatment.

How many treatments are recommended for optimal results and how long does one last?

Only one procedure per body part is necessary. One treatment lasts 30-60 minutes per body area. Through the method, diet and sports resistant fat deposits can be removed permanently, without a surgical procedure or injection. The fat under the skin is heated with ultrasound instead of being suctioned. Through its natural mechanisms, the body breaks down the fat melted by the energy of the ultrasound.

Is the method painful?

No. The patient feels a cold sensation in the body region to be treated. Depending on sensitivity, a slight tingling or pinching sensation may also occur during the course of treatment.
