Wrinkle treatment with BTX
Men’s skin has a different structure than women’s delicate skin: it is 20% thicker, produces more sebum, contains more melanin and has better blood circulation. Unlike women, men often do not want to look younger, but “not tired”. BTX is excellent for the treatment of mimic wrinkles, forehead wrinkles as well as frown lines. After a few days, the guest looks more relaxed and rested, and the facial expression remains natural. Botulinum treatment

BTX is injected into the desired muscles on an outpatient basis using a very fine needle, which blocks the transmission of excitation from the nerve cell to the muscle.
Frequently asked questions about wrinkle treatment
How should I behave after the treatment?
You can go right back to your daily routine, get out in the sun, and even start playing sports again. You do not need to adapt a special behavior after the wrinkle treatment.
How quickly are the results visible, and how long do they last?
The maximum result is visible about 4 weeks after the treatment, although the unfolding of BTX in the muscles can take 7-10 days. The active ingredient slowly wears off again after about 3 months; however, it takes about 6 months for the effect to fade completely.
How long does the treatment last?
Including consultation, a wrinkle treatment with BTX takes about half an hour. It is performed on an outpatient basis, and the patient can go about his or her daily activities immediately afterwards.
What side effects may occur?
Side effects and complications may occur during treatment, and you will be informed in detail about possible side effects by our doctors prior to treatment.
Normally, the small puncture marks remain visible only for a short moment. In rare cases, slight bruising and swelling may occur. Therefore, please tell your doctor what medications you are taking. BTX can spread to other unwanted muscles due to the injection and cause temporary muscle paralysis there – which, however, subsides after 3-4 weeks at the latest. What other therapies can be combined with BTX?
So-called “fillers” (e.g. hyaluronic acid) can also be used if the smoothing effect of BTX alone is not sufficient, e.g. in the case of very pronounced wrinkles. This combination of treatments usually leads to an excellent result.
Will my face appear mask-like and without expression afterwards?
Only those muscle areas that actually cause expression lines are treated with BTX. Afterwards, the face appears smoother and fresher. Only at the express request of the patient will a dose be administered that could result in overcorrection with mask-like rigidity. However, in Gentlemen’s Clinic this is not handled: the naturalness and vitality of the face is our top priority.
Is wrinkle treatment painful?
When injecting BTX, patients hardly feel any pain due to the use of special ultra-thin needles and the cooling of the skin just before the treatment. Instead, patients tend to feel pressure or a brief burning sensation. In exceptional cases, BTX can also be administered during a “twilight sleep” or after application of an anesthetic cream.
