As with a hair transplant, donor hair is obtained from the hair loss resistant area at the back of the head. In this special method, which Gentlemen’s Clinic uses, the individual hair follicles are taken there and inserted into the bald areas. This technique is extremely gentle and shows a very good regrowth rate and target density. The FUE technique allows for excellent results. The Gentlemen’s Clinic uses the most modern and gentle method of hair transplantation for beard transplants: The FUE method. This method removes hair follicles one by one. 1. consultation beard transplantation
Beard transplantation is a very special procedure because it takes place directly on the face. Accordingly, thorough consultation is particularly important. Approximately 45 minutes should be scheduled. During the consultation, not only the technique and the procedure are discussed, but also the desired shape of the beard and expectations.
2nd day of treatment
Conversation again
On the day of treatment, our team will go through all the steps with you again. The shape of the future beard can be adjusted again.
Marking
Once you have decided on the shape of the beard, it will be drawn. Now you can see your future beard line for the first time. The beard line can be drawn several times until it corresponds to the exact idea.
Local anesthesia
During beard transplantation, the donor area is treated with local anesthesia. Before inserting the harvested beard follicles, the recipient area is then also anesthetized with local anesthesia. Upon explicit request, we can of course also put you into twilight sleep.
Removal of the follicles
First, follicles are taken from the specified donor area to be later reinserted in the face. Our team takes care to ensure that there are no bald spots in the donor area later on.
Lunch break
Depending on the extent of the operation, there is a lunch break. You can enjoy your lunch normally, which you have chosen à la carte.
Insertion of the beard follicles
After the extracted follicles are prepared, they are inserted into the face. Local anesthesia ensures that you will not feel any pain during this procedure.
During treatment
While sitting in the receiver zone, you will have the opportunity to watch your favorite series or movie on Netflix on our Guest Entertainment.
3. aftercare
One month after the successful beard transplantation at Gentlemen’s Clinic, the first check-up takes place. If everything is healing well and there are no further concerns, come back for your next follow-up appointment after 12 weeks. Thereafter, a further control takes place after every 6 and 12 months. Of course, you have the possibility to visit us at any time for an intermediate check.

A beard transplant is performed under local anesthesia and takes several hours to a day, depending on the size and number of grafts. Stitches, scars or other marks do not occur with this technique. However, in the first few weeks the beard must be treated gently and with special and professional beard shampoos. In the first few days there may be redness and dryness of the skin, but these are natural side effects and will disappear after a few days of care. Already after two to four weeks your beard hair will grow back and it is not visible to the naked eye that a transplantation has taken place. After about two to three months, the beard growth normalizes and the final result can be seen – a full, natural and evenly beautiful beard. After that, the beard can be washed, shaved and groomed again as usual. If necessary, beard transplantation can be combined with microhair pigmentation, which again visually improves the density and results in an even fuller and more beautiful beard.
